The Japanese Association for RNAi (JARI) was founded to provide a forum for the technological exchange of ideas between academic institutions and pharmaceutical and biotech companies. With the establishment of an international division, the society has grown to become an active forum for international exchange within Japan. To this date, the society has brought together the most recent advancements covering a broad spectrum of topics from basic to clinical research, and beyond the boundaries of the field. In recent years, translational medicine involving miRNA and siRNA has become an area of strong interest nationwide. Through this society, we hope to foster partnerships between academic seeds and pharmaceutical and venture companies in Japan.

 

   Last year, JSEV was established as a Japan branch of ISEV to promote research on exosomes and extracellular vesicles in Japan. An ISEV joint symposium is being planned in the near future.

 

   In this meeting, general sessions will be presented in Japanese. Awards will be presented to young researchers. We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity and we look forward to receiving your applications.
